Information

Religious instruction is
offered to all youth in
grades K – 12 on Wednesday
evenings. The classes
begin, most evenings
(see
schedule), at 6:30 and last
60 – 75 minutes. Per our
diocesan practice,
instruction is offered for
First Communion in the 2nd
Grade. Confirmation is
usually received by students
in the 11th grade
with some exceptions for
families with specific needs
(ex, transfers to the area).

A very reasonably-priced,
family-style meal is served
prior to classes (at 5:30)
for the convenience of our
families involved in PSR as
well as some casual
fellowship for the entire
community.

Registration for all classes
should be through the
Coordinator of Religious
Education and may be
accomplished over the phone
(601-693-1321), M – F, 9
a.m. – 5 p.m.

Fees are $10 per student or
$25 per family max.

Required registration data
includes: student’s full
name, home phone number,
address, parent’s name,
student’s birth date,
student’s school.

All of our teachers and
staff have been cleared to
work with children through
the “Protection of Children”
program and have all
undergone training and
background checks per this
Diocesan-Mandated program.

All classes occur throughout
the parish facilities (St.
Patrick School, Family Life
Center and Parish Center) of
Saint Patrick Church.

In the event of inclement
weather, a determination of
cancellation of classes will
be made before 4 p.m.
Parents should call the
office no sooner than that
time.

The PSR offers various
scripture studies (including
Little Rock), Catholic 101
and other programs for
Adults as well as young
people. For more
information, check with the
CRE at the Parish Office
(601-693-1321).

Baptism instruction is
offered to parents 3 or 4
times per year.

A marriage enhancement
seminar called REFOCCUS is
offered each year to couples
who have been married at
least 2 years. Couples are
encouraged to participate in
this event every 3 – 5
years.
